1. About ZeroLawyer

ZeroLawyer ("we", "us", "our") is a Canadian legal document platform operated by Boost Commerce Group Inc. We provide self-serve legal document templates and automated document generation tools. ZeroLawyer is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Use of our platform does not create an attorney-client relationship.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZeroLawyer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

3. Services Provided

ZeroLawyer provides access to legal document templates for Canadian businesses and individuals. Our documents are:

  • Based on standard Canadian legal forms reviewed by licensed lawyers
  • Tailored for Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec
  • Delivered as PDF and DOCX files for immediate download
  • Intended for informational and self-help purposes only

We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation. For complex legal matters, consult a licensed lawyer in your jurisdiction.

4. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. To request a refund, email [email protected] within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the document template for your personal or business use. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense our templates. The underlying template structure and design remain the intellectual property of ZeroLawyer.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, ZeroLawyer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform or documents. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant document.

ZeroLawyer carries $2 million in Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance. This coverage applies to errors in our templates but does not guarantee that documents will achieve your desired legal outcomes or be appropriate for your specific circumstances.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our platform and documents are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our documents are suitable for your specific situation, that they will achieve your desired legal outcomes, or that they are free from errors. Laws change; we update templates regularly but cannot guarantee they reflect the most current legal standards at all times.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when generating documents
  • Review all generated documents before signing or using them
  • Consult a licensed lawyer for complex or high-stakes legal matters
  • Not use our platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute our templates

9. Privacy

Your use of ZeroLawyer is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ZeroLawyer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our platform.
